did:pkhYour wallet is your identity

One identity for the Powerhouse network

Renown turns your wallet into a portable identity. Sign in to every Powerhouse app, sign everything you create, and revoke an app's access whenever you choose.

Build with Renown

No passwords. Your wallet keys never leave your wallet.

An identity that travels with you

One sign-in, one signature, one profile, recognised across the network.

  • Sign in everywhere

    Powerhouse apps like Connect accept the same Renown ID. You approve each app, and the approval lasts until it expires or you revoke it. There is no password to reuse or leak.

  • Provable authorship

    Each document operation an app submits for you carries a signature from a key you authorised, so anyone can check it came from your DID.

  • Your public profile

    Claim a handle at renown.id/@you with a name, avatar, bio and links, and list the apps you publish.

From wallet to signed in, in three steps

No accounts to create and no passwords to remember. Just signatures you can check.

  1. 1

    Connect a wallet

    Use the wallet you already have. Renown never asks for a password and never sees your private key.

  2. 2

    Your DID is created

    Your identity is derived from your address, like did:pkh:eip155:1:0x5e…0a01. There is nothing to register.

  3. 3

    Apps ask, you approve

    An app requests access and you sign one credential for it, valid for 7 days unless the app asks for a different period, up to a year. Revoke it any time.

For developers

Add Renown sign‑in to your app

Send people to a connect link, get their approval back as a signed credential, and verify every request on your server with @renown/sdk.

Read the developer guide
server.ts
import { verifyAuthBearerToken, fetchDelegationCredential } from '@renown/sdk'

const jwt = await verifyAuthBearerToken(token)
if (!jwt) throw new Error('Invalid or expired token')
const { address, chainId } = jwt.verifiableCredential.credentialSubject
const grant = await fetchDelegationCredential({ address, chainId, appDid: jwt.issuer })
